Authorities are investigating the seemingly tragic demise of Bullwinkle J. Moose beloved local character, alum of Wossamotta U, former Governor of Moosylvania, and well-known Television Personality. It seems Mr. Moose met his maker in an ice-making machine incident. Only his trademark antlers seemed to have survived. Mr. Moose was found floating in Veronica Lake. When reached for comment his long time friend and close companion Rocket “Rocky” J. Squirrel “I am devastated by this. He was the best especially when he was enjoying honing his magic act.” At this time an investigation headed by Dudley Do-Right is gearing up focusing on the Pottsylvania Ice Making Company, LLC owned and operated by one Fearless Leader. When contacted company spokespersons Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale said “no comment and any other inquires should be taken up at VTSU (Villains, Thieves and Scoundrels Union) local 12 since they run the day to day operations of the plant.
At the private memorial service, Crusader Rabbit and his close companion of many years Ragland “Rags” T. Tiger, Dudley Nightshade, Bilious Green, Arson & Sterno, Garfield the groundhog, Gidney & Cloyd, Captain Peter “Wrongway” Peachifuzz, Edgar and Chauncy, Sherman and Dr. Peabody, Aesop and his son, Underdog, Tennesse Tuxedo, and Commander McBragg were among many of the Saturday Morning Childrens Entertainment Industry Stars who attended. Where many exchanged humorous stories of the Beloved Bullwinkle.
“Hey Rocky want to see me pull a rabbit out of my hat?” got the biggest chuckles considering Mr. Moose never was able to get the rabbit to appear.
Bullwinkle J. Moose will live on in our collective memories as the charming beam of light upon children’s dreams of anything is possible.
